Ford adds off-road package in 2022 Ford Explorer

Ford soon be adding the off-road package in Explorer called Timberline. The official is filing a trademark towards the same for using Timberline as an off-road appearance. It has refreshed with a few improvements and changes in wheels, tires, and more.

Explorer off-road package adds include Bridgestone Dueler all-terrain tires, different wheels, front end with a new grille insert, and the orange trim piece on lower fascia. It comes with a skid plate underneath, tweaked fascia in the rear-end. The FX4 off-road package will be available on all Ford’s pickup trucks.

The addition of Timberline in Ford Explorer doesn’t change the mechanics but it will add a lifted suspension, optional all-wheel drive, Timberline badge, differences in interior according to trims. It has a three-row crossover with rugged and firm body packages.

 
2022 Ford Explorer line-up will have the same features as of 2021 line-up. It has an addition of an off-road package in the line-up that will soon be arriving in the car.
